Require Parental Consent in Onboarding
Expanding on the recent parental consent update in Tanda Hire, we are now introducing parental consent when
onboarding
new employees as well. This feature is currently available to select accounts only and is being gradually released.
When inviting an employee through paperless onboarding, if they are below the configured age threshold, they will be prompted to provide a parent or guardian’s details. An email will then be sent requesting a digital signature to confirm consent for employment.

Onboarding cannot be completed until the consent form has been signed.
You can configure the minimum age threshold for parental consent in onboarding under each
Location
(Workforce > Teams > Location > Advanced Options).
Notes:
- The default age threshold is 18 years.
- Tanda HR is not required to use this feature.
- Signed parental consent forms will be stored in the employee's profile under the Contracts & Docstab.
- If consent was already provided during hiring, it will not need to be completed again during onboarding.
