When hiring candidates under 18, you can now collect parental consent directly through the application process.

How it works:
- If a candidate enters their date of birth and is under 18, they’ll be prompted to enter their parent or guardian’s contact details (name, email, phone, and relationship).
- The parent or guardian receives an email with a link to review and sign the consent form.
- The parent or guardian can review and sign the consent form online.
- You can view the consent status in the candidate’s profile to see whether consent has been provided. Candidates with an unsigned parental consent form cannot be moved to the 'Hired' stage.
- If the candidate is hired, the parental consent form is stored in the Contracts & Docssection of their profile.
The age threshold for required parental consent can also be adjusted in
Hire
> Settings
> General
. This streamlines hiring for roles that commonly employ minors while ensuring the required parental consent is recorded and stored.
