Track Staff Shift Swaps/Replacement and Analyze Shift Patterns for Swap Shifts

To improve shift management and identify potential issues with staff scheduling, we would like to request the following features:
- Track Shift Swaps and Replacements:
• The system should track how many times each staff member uses the shift swap or shift replacement feature, providing a detailed log of all actions taken by each staff.
• This feature would help managers and HR teams to monitor how frequently staff are requesting or swapping shifts and ensure that scheduling is optimized.
- Analyze Anomalies in Shift Patterns:
• The system should include an analysis tool that identifies anomalies in staff shift patterns. This would include flagging frequent shift changes, irregular shift assignments, or shifts that fall outside typical working hours.
• Anomalies in shift patterns could highlight potential issues like burnout, scheduling errors, or poor staff distribution, allowing the management team to address them proactively.
EXPECTED BEHAVIOUR:
• The system should automatically track each instance of staff shift swaps and replacements, including the date, staff involved, and shifts swapped.
• A shift pattern analysis tool should identify any anomalies, such as excessive shift changes or unusual patterns, and present this information in an easily readable report.
BENEFITS:
• Improved Scheduling Efficiency: Tracking shift swaps and replacements will help prevent overuse or misuse of the feature and will ensure that shifts are properly allocated.
• Better Workforce Management: Identifying anomalies in shift patterns will allow managers to optimize scheduling, reduce fatigue, and prevent overworking of staff.
• Time Savings: Automating the tracking and anomaly detection will save time for managers and HR teams, reducing the need for manual analysis.
OTHER INFORMATION:
• Implementing this feature would improve operational efficiency and lead to better staff satisfaction by ensuring more balanced and fair scheduling.
