I would like to keep up with staff who constantly put their shifts up for replacement
We do our rosters 3 weeks in advance then they put them up the day before they are due to do shift. and whenever they like.
I find its the same people but cannot monitor it.

I think many would find a replacement shift log under an employee useful showing shifts put up for replacement and how far in advance of the shift they make the request

I want to keep track of who puts up shifts and how often in a time period so we can sit down with the staff who are less reliable and talk to them about this. As soon as we fill a shift though there is no record of who was in that shift prior. Taken manual records is not practicable and time consuming. I think a report that incorporates all these things into one would be beneficially for many organisations.

We need a way to see whether staff have viewed and declined an offer of shift. Most of our shift replacements are when someone calls in sick and we need to act quickly to ensure we have sufficient staff rostered on that day. At present the only feedback we get is if someone accepts a shift. We need to know if staff have seen the request but are unavailable so we can offer it to other (perhaps less preferred staff for that role). At present, I'm sending out the shift replacement offer and if no one accepts it immediately having to then contact staff separately to see if they can cover. A 'Sorry can't cover that' button which feeds back to the managers would be great, but even just being able to see if someone has seen the message (like in messenger and whats app) would be sufficient

Great to have an audit trail to see who approved for a shift to be given out to who excepted the shift without going into the roster as when you are dealing with 700 staff its very hard to remember who's shift you are replacing

Would love to see this, especially in order to be compliant with Fair Week legislation in several states, we need a way to prove that a schedule change was due to a shift swap, rather than the manager simply deciding to change the schedule last minute (which would warrant a premium payment be paid to BOTH employees for having their schedule changed).
