It would be great to have the ability to input probationary periods into TANDA, than when it's getting close to the probationary period date than it starts flagging similar to licences, and qualifications where they will have an explanation mark that's yellow when its getting close than it turns red when its expired. This would be very handy.

Hi everyone,
We have addressed this in two different but complementary ways.
1) The probationary period can be uploaded into "Qualifications" and the expiry date can be set. If this is done, then the admin will receive a notice in advance.

Note that depending on your settings this may also give the 1 month alert to the employee.
2) For those who are looking to store additional data, we think that the approach using the platform outlined by Alex in the post below dated 29/10/2019 is a good approach, and could be complimentary. He has included links and help articles for those interested.
If there are aspects of these two solutions that still don’t cover your request, then can we suggest that a new canny item is specific to a situation where these solutions hasn’t quite covered your use case.

Hey everyone, if you want to store additional data on employee profiles (such as dates) you can add them as custom fields on the Tanda platform. See attached screenshot for an example. https://my.tanda.co/platform/objects is where you do the setup, and there's a help article here: https://help.tanda.co/en/articles/3083034-custom-fields-create-your-own-forms-and-collect-specific-tailored-information
(Note that this doesn't do everything in the post, so I'm going to leave it open for now to collect feedback/ideas around alerting. But at the very least, you can now store the data :))

Elizabeth Haverfield: Hi Elizabeth, have you tried entering these as a qualification? I have a few clients using this and it achieves their goals (although I understand some people would like this data reflected in the payroll tab). Would be interested in your feedback.

Coen Willrath: Hi Coen, no I have not tried that at this stage, I understand it would likely work if i did that, but I was kind of hoping it would fall under the payroll tab perhaps between there start date and termination date. As its more for payroll purposes not a qualification as such.
