In the short term we have created a custom field 'Probation stage' where we can add the stage and date. This can be reported on. Would be amazing to have built in and automated.

Within the HR module this is handled within the performance review functionality.

Creating a sepecific probation review form and setting it to automatically to relveant staff (Typicaly FT, PT and Salaried) n days after their employement start date.

You can seperately configure the permissions so the right person is notified on this date.

Yeah and it would be good if we didn’t have to use the qualification section to do the probation. We have employee qualification editing turned on so they can update their actual licenses and qualifications, so this means that they can also edit their probation period
