Having a warning on Timesheet Export preview that XX number of shifts/timesheets before Hire Date is not enough.
From the payroll POV, this is the last stage of timesheet processing in Tanda. By this time, it will be too late for Payroll to advise HR, who will need to amend employee's contract, get approval, get employee to re-sign, and update the system.
Payroll may need to exclude the employee from the payrun in order to continue and pay the rest of employees on time.
The employee needs to Clock In to start their shift in the first place.
By preventing Clock In before the Hire Date, then the employee and manager will know that the employee cannot work until their Hire/Start date is amended.
Isn't prevention better than fixing the Hire Date after employee had done the shift?
