Improve Future Leave Requests

When staff submit an application for future leave request, it shows them their projected leave and allows them to apply. However, if they then apply for leave before that it shows them as having a negative leave balance. This makes it hard for our managers to know what the actual leave balance is. If Tanda can predict the projected leave, it should be able to show this more clearly.

Agreed, we have a large employee base and this is a constant point of annoyance for managers, and for payroll to then do a backpay to use available leave balance now, even though they have a future booking. THe next issue is the approved leave in the future is then not re-calculated in the psay period it falls into to look at leave entitlements as at that time, so if its been approved in the past, it will try and pay the leave hours that no longer exist and wont go into unpaid leave, but simply flag on the payslip that a true negative leave balance will occur. Lots of fixing for payroll. It needs to be more fluid

I think projected leave and leave requests need to sync, not hold someones leave once a leave request is approved. I have to keep alot of staff requests pending for future dated requests as right now they dont have the leave but at the time of the leave request they will but it does not calculate it :(

I agree, it then does two leave types and one is unpaid which makes it hard to remember to change it when they have accrued the leave.
