I would love to use this for my sub-contractors. I would set it up on their phone and let them punch in and out. The only issue is that I would need a GPS location so I could verify they are actually on the job when then are punching in.

Thanks to everyone that voted on this issue and gave us constructive feedback. 
We've released GPS Clock-ins to the Tanda app on the latest version of the app for iOS and Android.

Whilst this feature is in its early days we'd love to hear all feedback and improvements.

Brod Gaggi: Thanks Brod, Mobile Clock in feature works great. This really will fill a large gap in our business needs. Only suggestion/ request would be a feature to enable us to geofence the areas staff are able to clock in/out within.

Richard Carmichael: Hi Richard, this is now live in product! When an employee clocks in, Tanda will cross reference with the address on the location the employee is clocking in to. To set the radius of the fence, simply navigate to workforce > Teams >

edit location

> Advanced options and adjust the field displayed in the below image

It would be great to allow staff to clock in via the mobile app rather than having to download the time clock app as well. Particularly useful for staff clocking in for events (not at a fixed venue).

Please integrate this into the personal user app rather than the time clock app so that people just log in once and then can clock in/clock out from their personal app on a daily basis without even having to key in a pass code

Brod Gaggi: Hi Brod, our primary use case for this would be our team of drivers who don't enter our locked office in the mornings, they just get into their pre-loaded van and start delivering goods. The time clock app with the passkey entry is cumbersome on small devices so having this ability on the tanda employee app would be perfect. Our drivers have a company issued mobile and the tanda employee app is always logged in so they would literally just open the app and then tap clock in or clock out, GPS would be logged on their device at this point and the photo could be taken as normal with the selfie camera.

Add a web page based time clock to the Employee Portal that employees who are mobile working can access via their smart phone.
Currently the Portal can only be used to correct time sheets and request leave. 
Add a third tab for a timeclock and employees who are in work but not at a business location can log in without having to install an app on their phone.

GPS location on clock in/out would be ideal for us - we nearly went with another software for that very reason. This would be absolutely excellent and very beneficial for us.
