Daily Attendance Report

Hi Everyone,
Re: Visitor Sign-in Reports
This can now be done through the use of our platform functionality and Retool.
Visitors are able to sign-in and fill out:
- Name
- Phone Number
- Who They Are Visiting
The tool will update the 'visitor sign-in list' which is located under the workforce tab where you can filter by date and time. If this is of interest to you feel free to send me a message

Fire Roll Call Feature

A couple of clients/ prospects have wanted the ability to show a list of who is in the building at a specific time in case of an emergency. Nothing major, just a spreadsheet that is easy to print off showing who is in which location when an emergency occurs.

I would love to be able to print out the 'Who's in Today?' so we can use it for fire drills. We don't put salaried staff in the rosters so printing the roster won't do the job.

I have raised this issue previously and would LOVE this feature to be made available.

We have just had another fire drill and are heading into bush fire season so would love to get an Onsite attendance record for fire safety sorted asap.
Staff and visitors used to sign in and out in a paper register that was at the entrance but since moving to Tanda our Fire warden now doesn't have a list of who is on the property at any one time for evacuation purposes. Ideally, it would be great if visitors could also sign on and off with Tanda too so only one list could be printed in the event of an emergency.
Please review this asap

Accurate Fire Register and Visitor Management

For us it would be ideal to have both a fire register and visitor management system integrated with tanda as otherwise we need 3 separate systems which for me does not make sense and causes frustration with staff;
- Fire register for staff
currently one piece of paper where staff sign in and out their arrival and leaving times.
- Fire register for visitors
Another piece of paper that visitors sign in/out of
- Staff clocking in/out with tanda on a tablet
I feel it would make much more sense to be able to do all of that in tanda on a couple of tablets.
So how I envisioned it is something like this;
Staff comes into the building and they would put in their code into a tablet by the entrance door. That signs them into the buildings fire register but not clocking them onto their shift, they then go to their workstation and access another tablet and clock on once they are ready to work.
Then when it times to clock out I could see it working like either staff clock out of working hours on the tablet by their work area and then they can go and put on their outdoor clothing and get ready to leave and when leaving the building they sign out of the fire register by the exit door.
Other options that I would like to see is the option for someone to sign out of the fire register but still be clocked into tanda as working if they are leaving the building to run a work errand.
Another option would be to leave the building whilst on lunch. As we have several members of staff who do leave the building and several who stay so currently tanda cannot be relied upon to know who is clocked out for lunch and still in the building and who is clocked out for lunch and has left.
For Visitors they would then either accept an email invite to setup an account so they just put in their own code when they arrive or put in their details into the tablet on arrival and have a screen for them to sign out when leaving that is accessible from the tablet app.
Also keeping a log of visitors in the same app would mean we don't need to go down the route of having a separate system and tablets for them as we don't get that many visitors but never the less we still need an accurate fire register.
In the case of an emergency evacuation then one would only need to bring a tablet out or use a mobile phone to check everyone is out of the building safely.

I have partially covered this in my idea here https://tanda.canny.io/new-ideas/p/accurate-fire-register-and-visitor-management

I think multiple tables and multiple clockins would just peev everyone off. We have alot of visitor signs in on a daily basis and currently use a manual system. I could see it working if different categories of visitors had a different generic pins - in our case all electricians might be given the pin of 9999 and all plumbers use the pin of 4444. these pin are then specifically linked to a subsection of TANDA that is a just a clock in / out register that records time on and off site like we are currently doing in the notebook. additionally, there might be a second 'clock in' screen for visitor registration which takes is accessed by the generic pin for the visitor category and then displays some sort of visitor policy relating to OHS etc with the 'i agree' 'i don't agree' down the bottom - select 'i agree' and the tradie goes about their work or select 'i don't agree' and the screen will prompt the tradie to speak further with site supervisor or the like.
if like our visitors, they predominately come from specific companies, each company could be established as a 'trusted supplier' in the system as a further way of categorising the sign in/out data and then each trusted company is given a unique pin for their staff to use.
