Be able to change/remove a day during a multi leave application for Leave

When Staff apply for Multiply days leave if they happen to work a day during the leave due to staff storages or if a Public Holiday falls in that time or the Staff member become sick and provides a Medical Certificate for only a couple of day you need to be able to change those day to the new leave without having to go through the process of decline the leave and reapply especially if you have already applied timesheet to the leave application. Other system allow this I can't see why Tanda can't

I'm not sure why you cant do this, we can. Tanda applies the public holiday so the annual leave is not applied to that day. We can also unlock the leave application and amend it if a person comes in to work on one of their days off or wants to return to work early. We don't have to decline the leave and re do.

Cheryl Grampe I would be interest in know how you this. As it wouldn't let me remove a day or even if I changed to 0 hours leave for that day it wouldn't let me approve the timesheet.

Jillien van Bommel I am surprised at this. Is your leave application spread across a previous pay period and the current one (more than one) or just in the current pay period ?

Cheryl Grampe more then one pay period

Jillien van Bommel I go into the previous pay period and unlock the timesheet for that employee who has the leave application. Once I do that I can amend the application going forward (ie, change dates, hours etc). You then save it and re lock the paid timesheet. You cant amend the hours that you have already paid but you can for the leave in the current or future period. I had to do this yesterday with an employee who wanted to return to work early and not take the leave she had applied for. I hope this helps

I agree, particularly with Public Holidays, these should be able to be changed by the staff member or approving manager.
