Automatically deactivate an employee on their termination date / employee end date

It would be helpful if employees were automatically deactivated on their termination dates.
This would help Xero/MYOB AccountRightLive users. When the termination date is synced from their payroll to Tanda, the employee would also then be deactivated in Tanda. This would remove a step for payroll officers.
It would also help businesses if they wanted to set the termination date in the future e.g. on a Saturday, so that they don't have to log into Tanda on the day.

Hi all
Thanks for voting on this item, happy to announce you can now set up Tanda to automatically deactivate employees on their termination date.
To set this up head to Settings > Notifications & Tasks > Scheduled Tasks
You don't need to do anything on this page, the task will automatically be set up for you.
Now, if you set an Employment Termination Date on an employees profile for a future date, when that date occurs the employee will automatically be deactivated.

Jess Golding: Hi Jess. What happens to their timesheet once their deactivated? For example pay week finishes Sunday but their last shift is Tuesday. Do they stay “active” in the sense that their timesheets do not disappear? Also once we put jn date of termination do they come up as NA in the roster for scheduling thereafter?
Jess Golding
Jason K Leong: Hi Jason. Yes, their existing timesheets do not disappear once they have been deactivated. However they won't be able to log in to add new times, so make sure they have clocked all their times
In terms of not showing the team member in the roster after the termination date, this is in the pipeline but not yet in the product.

Yes once you put in their termination date they will stop appearing as available for being rostered in teams thereafter would be good.

Brilliant! If an employee works their last day on the second day of a new fortnight they need to be marked Not Available for the rest of the fortnight so they are not offered vacant shifts.
