For organizations operating 24-hour services, please add an optional organizational setting that automatically splits shifts at midnight.

When enabled, the system should segment a shift crossing midnight into two payroll segments without requiring employees to clock out and clock back in.

This ensures accurate overtime calculations across workdays and pay periods and prevents inflated overtime costs for overnight shifts in residential and healthcare environments.

Example: If someone is already in OT hours, and their shift starts at 9:00pm and ends at 9:00am. Only 3 hours of this shift would generate OT if they work on a day that ends the week. But with the full shift being all in one day, 9 additional hours of OT is being paid. This has significant cost to organizations with 100+ employees. This is also compounded for overnight shifts that fall on the last day of the pay period.
