I would add to this that generally the edit history and published snapshots can be very complex to navigate when you have a decent sized workforce and the roster gets changed and published regularly. Sometimes trying to work out what has happened on a particular shift or to a particular employee can take an extraordinarily long time to determine.

If you got to the Rosters> Sidebar> tools > roster history you should be able to find the history of changes made.
