Hi everyone,
Today we have released an update to Communications, whereby an admin can now delete an announcement and a 'chat' message (see attached image).

Bridget O'Hare I've gone in to communications and don't have this pin/delete option so I'm still unable to delete anything. Is there a setting I need to change to allow this?

For everyone - announcements can't be deleted from the 'all announcements' feed. They can only be deleted from the individual group they were posted in :)

The option to delete a staff communication is required in case of errors or old communications.

I went in to the Communications section and I'm still not seeing a way to delete any of the announcements.

Exactly! Yesterday I inadvertently wished someone a Happy Anniversary when it was their Birthday :( it's just up there for all to see unless I archive the Group which I do not want to do!! Embarrassing.

Archive past messages on communications

Any new staff member added to a team that is linked to a group message receives all past messages. I can only archive groups and will need to create a new group when a new message needs to be sent out. I would like to keep the groups in communication and be able to just archive past messages within the group.

If you delete the group where the communication is on then it remove the message. But not ideal.

Has this really been an ongoing request since 2021? It really isn't a user friendly system the way it is.
