It would be very useful to include an open text notes field alongside the Payroll Cessation Code within the Staff Personal Details page.

Currently, while a cessation code can be selected, there is no place to record additional context around an employee’s departure (e.g. resignation circumstances, internal notes, follow-up actions).

Adding a short free-text field (with a reasonable character limit) would allow payroll and HR teams to capture relevant information in one place, improving record-keeping and reducing the need to go into the Notes section to drill down to relevant documentation.

This would be particularly valuable for audit trails, internal reference, and consistency across multi-venue operations.
