I would love to see a feature whereby short company announcements could pop up on the timeclock when employees clock in. e.g. staff meeting change of venue...

Hi there 👋
We currently have a feature called 'Shift Questions' which I believe would be a good solution for this problem. Shift Questions can be configured by going to Settings > Shift Questions. 
The feature works by configuring a question to pop up on the Timeclock before an employee clocks in/out (start/end break) and responses can be recorded in the form of a Timesheet Comment. To ensure that a Question has been acknowledged by the employee, there is also a setting that enables a response to be required.
Also, in terms of broadcasting adhoc announcements - we do have a Chat feature which includes a 'Notice Board'. The chat feature is available on mobile app only but if you'd like more information I'd suggest checking out this doc: https://help.tanda.co/en/articles/3737577-tanda-chat-for-mobile-app
