We have found that this function works extremely well for certain teams and locations; however, it has the opposite effect in others. While the intent is to provide flexibility, in practice the function can be used by employees as a means to divest themselves of a shift, notwithstanding the requirement for managerial approval.

If the shift swap could be enabled and disabled by location and teams it would be a far more effective function for our organisation.
