This is a feature we used on Deputy a lot, the ability to write notes on peoples shifts like, Sarah is keen to work if you are looking for someone, big push in abc venue at 7.30, please do xyz for prep for tomorrow. Or when there is a vacant shift happy with different hours say the shift is 11-5 and you can write happy with someone working 12-4 claim and let me know. I so see this is noted below and a link to an article but the article no longer is live and I can't find how to do it anywhere. The feature of comments doesn't have the same effect. Thanks

We use a few freelance resources, the comment feature on shift is very helpful.
Display the comments / field when mouse hovered over the shift. Currently one has to click on it to see the comment on the left.
Secondly, when copying a shift to another time slot, the comment/s do not get copied.

I would love to be able to add a simple note to shift, without having to set up jobs categories etc, Eg "Hey John, don't forget to help the kitchen tonight they have a function" or "Sandra don't forget to lock the rear door tronight"

It would be great to be able to add specific shift notes to individuals rostered shift. Orbe able to create a "To Do List" that is specific to a staff member but not relative to others in the team or department.

I would like to be able to add notes to shifts, such as, 'clock off early it not busy', 'Jane's is not working today - you will be on your own', etc.

Need to have the option to add comments / notes to a shift that will display next to the staffs name on day sheet for managers eg, RGO, needs to be signed off, move to cafe if busy

We need to be able to simply add shift notes to individual shifts viewable by the person on the shift. This is vital to operations and quite honestly shocking it doesn't exist already. If you need to see it in action check out deputy, they know how it's done.

I find it really useful if there was a feature to add notes to a shift before publishing. so when the shift is published, the notes are visible to employees. This is particularly useful if you want to include a small reminder or a specific task I want a particular employee to do in a particular shift.

This would be a game changer. In adult care services, you might want to indicate that a female is necessary for a shift, or that there is a visit from a health professional, or that the shift is planned to be dedicated to one of several individuals that live in a care home (one-to-one shifts). Adding free text notes to shifts so they can be seen by selecting a drop-down item from the menu in the rota, or so they are visible on shifts in the mobile add (whether they be assigned to someone, or be out for vacant shift claiming) would be amazing.
