Right now my "shift details" are full words, but on the printed roster they show as abbreviations. This is difficult in a larger facility where there are lots of shift details that should be visible that might start with the same letters. I think there should be a character limit. So on the printed roster, as opposed to an abbreviation, the shift details are a certain number of characters. My example is below:

I have a Pastry team, and within that team is Batch Production, Cook, Cinnie Scrolls, Croissants, Morning Service, Afternoon Service, etc. Right now if I have Team (Pastry) > Shift Detail (Cinnie Scroll) it shows on the printed roster as Pastry > CS.

As the team expands, I am going to need to print a legend to be on the wall for people to know all the acronyms! It would be easier for the team if the Shift Details were shown in full or with a character limit.
