Id also love to see options that when staff are entering leave request in the future or even next year that will have enough projected hours forecasted but currently they dont have the leave accrued at the time of approving it will result in unpaid leave portion.
Id like to see and option that the accrued hours potentially reducing the unpaid portion of a future approved leave request.
We shutdown for Christmas and give advance notice to staff but we will have some short in their balances now so if i approve their leave request at this time again part of the requested hours will move to unpaid.
I have been told by support the best option is to sit as pending. This does not help for other examples at other times of the year if someone is booking a holiday in 6 months time knowing they will have accrued leave balance at the time but we cant approve the leave now because it will result in unpaid portion now.
There also isn't a option to tick the allow negative leave balances for us.
