We have updated how we collect and handle addresses during onboarding to make the process more straightforward and frictionless.
Previously, if you were sending contracts that included the employee's address through onboarding, you had two options:
1) Ask the employee for their address
before
inviting them to onboarding.2) Sign the contract
outside of Tanda
and upload it later.This was because we needed the address to complete the contract before onboarding could start. This created an unnecessary delay, as managers often had to contact a new hire to ask for their address before sending an onboarding invitation.
Following this update, the process will work as follows:
- You can attach a contract in onboarding—even without providing an address.
- When the employee goes through onboarding, they'll be prompted to provide their address before they're allowed to sign the contract. For example:

- Once provided, the address will be automatically added to the contract.
