We’ve made several improvements to UK pension management, making it easier to set up salary sacrifice and manage pension contributions from one place.
Manage pension salary sacrifice from the Pension tab
Pension salary sacrifice can now be managed directly from an employee’s Pension tab, bringing pension membership and salary sacrifice settings together.
Go to
Staff > [Employee] > Payroll > Pension
to manage an employee’s pension membership and salary sacrifice settings.

Set fixed amount pension contributions
You can now choose between percentage or fixed amount contributions for both standard pension contributions and pension salary sacrifice.
Fixed amounts can be set at the Pension Provider level and inherited by employees using that provider, or customised for individual memberships.

Additional pay run checks
We’ve also added new pay run checks to help identify pension contribution and salary sacrifice issues before payroll is finalised. This includes warnings where contributions fall below the applicable auto-enrolment minimum, and checks that prevent posting where salary sacrifice would take pay below National Minimum Wage or affect statutory pay.
