Tax-Free Allowance Amounts Automated for Managed Award Templates

Laundry and Cents/KM allowances will now automatically configure their tax-free amounts in payroll when using Managed Award Templates in Tanda.

This is live across the most commonly used templates, with the remaining templates rolling out by next week.

Some customers may notice a small change in the calculated tax for employees receiving these allowances.

If you’ve been using a workaround with separate taxed and non-taxed allowances to achieve this outcome, this new automation does not account for those setups and may require adjustment.
