Tanda Payroll NZ: STC Support

We've added support for STC tax codes in Tanda Payroll NZ. STC (Special Tax Code) is a New Zealand tax code that allows employers to apply a custom tax rate instead of the standard PAYE rates for employees in special tax circumstances, such as student loan repayments.

To do so, navigate to the Tax Information section of a user’s Staff Profile, then set the relevant tax code using the Tax Code dropdown menu. Click SAVE to apply your changes.

From here, the relevant tax tables will apply:
