We’ve recently made updates in Tanda Payroll to ensure allowances report their tax-free portions correctly to STP. In doing so, you may have noticed differences when comparing Tanda pay run data with the ATO portal.
This difference stems from the tax-free portion of allowances like Laundry Allowances, which is now reported alongside the taxed portions.
To make it easier to reconcile these amounts, we've added a new
STP Gross
field
in pay runs, showing the taxable earnings plus any tax-free allowance amounts that have been reported to STP.
Additionally, we've added an
STP Gross column
to the Activity Details Report.
