We’ve updated the way deleted rostered shifts behave.
Previously, if you accidentally deleted a published shift while creating a roster, it would also disappear from an employee’s roster on the Tanda Mobile App,
even if you hadn’t clicked ‘Publish’ to confirm that change.
This led to confusion as it was difficult to revert this change. For example, an employee might see a shift disappear from their roster on the Tanda Mobile App, even if this change was unintentional. Alternatively, a manager might accidentally delete the entire roster and have to re-create it manually.
This update fixes that functionality.
Now, if a manager deletes a published shift while rostering, that shift will still appear in the Tanda Mobile App until the manager confirms their roster changes by hitting publish.

Put simply, deleting a rostered shift no longer deletes that shift
everywhere
until you confirm your changes, providing managers with extra peace of mind while rostering. From here, creating, viewing, and publishing rosters follows the same process you’re used to. Learn more in our rostering help guide.
