When approving leave that overlaps part of a rostered shift, you can choose to keep, vacate, or delete the existing schedule.

Previously,
vacating
or
deleting
would always apply to the entire shift, even if only part of it was covered by leave.
Now,
only the leave portion of the shift is affected
. The remaining worked hours stay on the roster.
For example, if a shift runs from 07:30–19:30 and leave is taken from 13:00-19:30, the shift will now split, keeping the worked portion (7:30-13:00) intact and only deleting or vacating the 13:00-19:30 period.
This also applies to leave taken in the middle of a shift, where the schedule will split around the leave period.
