We have integrated Pay Checks into the onboarding process, to avoid creating new users who immediately fail these checks. For example:

With this update, the following Pay Checks will now apply throughout the onboarding form:
  • Minimum age for this organisation
  • The Employee has no date of birth entered
  • The Employee has no employment start date entered
  • The Employee has no position selected
  • The Employee has not been assigned to an award
  • The Employee has both a salary and an overriding hourly rate entered
As with all of our Pay Checks, these can be set to be blocking, warning, or disabled. To configure these checks, navigate to
Reports > Central Pay Check Report > Configure Checks.
