Tanda Payroll NZ now includes a field to capture the dollar value of leave taken in advance for when leave is recorded outside of Tanda.
This is particularly relevant for employees who migrate into Tanda with an existing negative leave balance, ensuring that final pay calculations on termination accurately reflect all leave taken.
You can now enter the value of leave taken in advance directly into the
Opening Balance
of the leave type to ensure accurate final pay calculations:
Note that this field will only appear when the Opening Balance value is
negative
. If the value is later adjusted to 0 or positive, the field will automatically reset to nil.
