 In addition to the above, award rules have also been configured for piecework. Since piecework employees are paid by the piece/unit, the award rules configured for the Piecework stream capture only the worker's start, finish, and break times. Ordinary hours of work do not cost. 
We recommend setting the pieceworker rates as allowances so the total piece/units can be easily entered at the end of each shift.
