New Allowance Types for On-Call and Sleepover Shifts

We’ve created new automatic allowance types for sleepover and on-call shifts, making it easier to categorise these shifts and pay them correctly ✅.
With this update, you can create allowances that will automatically apply if an employee is on-call or rostered for a sleepover shift 
🛏️ 💤.
Specifically, this update impacts businesses using the following awards, which have clauses pertaining to on-call or sleepover shifts: 
Social, Community, Home Care, and Disability Services Award (SCHADS)
Health Professionals and Support Services Award (HPSS)
Nurses Award
Animal Care and Veterinary Services Award
Aged Care Award
To configure these new allowance types for your team, navigate to Time & Attendance > Compliance
 and select Manage next to Allowances
. Then, click on + New Allowance

From here, you’ll need to enter the following details to configure the allowance:
A name and description ✍️
The associated award template
The allowance type (select automatic) 
Which staff it will apply to 👥
Which days, times, and types of hours it will apply to ⏰
Which types of shifts it will apply to (during this step, select either sleepover or on-call shifts)
How it will be paid, including the rate 💰
Once you’ve filled out these details accurately, select 'Create Allowance.' The allowance will now apply automatically based on the criteria you set.
