Long Service Leave (calculated) for the Northern Territory
The
Long Service Leave (calculated)
feature is now available for staff in the Northern Territory
, meaning it is now supported in every
state and territory in Australia.Per the Long Service Leave Act 1981, we've automated the following:
- Prorated balances between 7 and 10 years of employment
- Available balance of 13 weeks at 10 years of continuous employment
- Additional 6.5 weeks available for every 5 years thereafter
- Handling for periods of non-continuous service
- Automatic payment of available and prorata balances upon termination
- Rate of Pay calculations for employees with varied hours
- Liability tracking before reaching 7 years of employment
