Long Service Leave (calculated) for Tasmania
Following the recent introduction of the Long Service Leave (calculated) feature in the ACT, you can now track LSL entitlements more accurately in
Tasmania
, based on the Long Service Leave Act 1976.This automates the following:
- Prorated balances between 7-10 years of employment and between each 5-year entitlement thereafter
- Available balance of 8.6667 weeks after 10 years of continuous employment
- Additional 4.3333 weeks available for every 5 years thereafter
- Handling for periods of non-continuous service
- 12-month average weekly rate for employees with varied hours
- Automatic payment of available and prorata balances upon termination
- Ability to track liability before reaching 7 years of employment
- Support in the Long Service Leave Liability report
Note that this feature
does not
