Our ‘Leave in days’ option now supports the varying working arrangements and contracts for staff within your organisation.
For leave types with ‘Leave in days’ enabled, Workforce will consider an employee's weekly
contracted days
and weekly
contracted hours
to determine their holiday entitlement in days.
Managers and employees will see accurate holiday entitlement in days when:
  • Creating leave balances
  • Requesting leave
  • Approving leave
  • Viewing the Leave Balance Report
Note:
Accurate calculations are dependent on both the ‘contracted weekly hours’ and ‘contracted weekly days’ information entered on the employee profile. In the absence of this information, Workforce will use the ‘Default leave hours per full day of leave’ (see Leave Settings). Review the complimentary government guidance here.
