Introduction of Legal Names and Preferred Names 👤

We are excited to announce the addition of fields for Legal First, Middle, Last, and Preferred Full Name!
These fields are intended for formal and legal use, and will be prioritised in the following scenarios:
Matching users' names in external systems
Adding legal names to contracts
Submitting information to the ATO (Australian Taxation Office)
Which name will be used and what will employees see?
An employee's 'preferred name' will be used in the absence of a legal name. Should an employee provide both a legal name and preferred name, their preferred name will display in all areas the employee can see.
How are legal and preferred names entered?
Customers can enter an employee's Legal First, Middle, Last, and Preferred Full Name in the New User Profile section. Employees are able to set during onboarding but are unable to modify afterward to maintain data integrity and compliance.
