Introduction of Draft Pay Conditions, Contracts and Onboarding Invitations
We’ve introduced new approval workflows that allow staff to create draft instances of
Employment Condition Sets (Pay Conditions), Contracts
and Onboarding Invitations
.This feature is currently available to a few organisations and will be rolled out to all users soon.
Whats New
Pay Conditions
Users with the new ‘
Edit Draft Wages
’ permission can create Draft Pay Conditions by clicking ‘Add New Conditions
’ on an employee's profile. After making the necessary changes, they can save their work as a draft.
Draft Pay Conditions
can then be reviewed by users who have permission to manage pay conditions, allowing them to edit, confirm or delete the draft.Similar to the Pay Condition workflow, users can save
Contracts
, Documents
and Files
against a set of draft Employment Conditions to save them without sending immediately.Users can also choose to notify when saving their draft, which will let managers with the appropriate permissions know there is a pending draft waiting to be approved.
Onboarding Invitations
Users with the new '
Pending Onboards
' permissions can create Pending Onboarding Invitations, which require approval before sending out. These users will be able to fill in the employee onboarding details and select
Finalise Draft & Notify
on the final page to let those with creation permissions know there is a Pending Onboard ready to be sent out.
The invitation can also be saved as a draft at any point, which is then stored in the new
Pending Onboards
tab. You can learn more about these features in our new Help Articles: Managing Draft Employment Conditions and Contracts and Managing Pending Onboarding Invitations.
