We’ve released Tanda Pay Advance, giving employees the flexibility to access their wages early, directly through Tanda Payroll.
What’s New
  • Early access to pay: Eligible employees can request up to 50% of their
    net earnings
    for the current pay period (up to $500).
  • Mobile access: Employees can request advances from the Tanda Mobile App under their profile → Pay Advances.
  • Automated repayments: Advances are automatically deducted from the employee’s next payslip, along with a small 1.4% fee.
  • No cost to employers:
    Employers don’t pay any fees—everything is managed by Tanda.
Eligibility Rules
  • Available only to organisations using Tanda Payroll with the feature toggled on in Feature Management.
  • Employees must be over 18 and fully onboarded.
  • Some exclusions apply (e.g. employees who approve their own timesheets or have child support deduction templates).
Employer Visibility
  • Pay advances appear on payslips as a deduction line titled Tanda Pay Advance.
  • Employers can view deductions via standard Tanda Payroll reports (e.g. Activity Details with Pay Advance selected).
