Notifications
Employee Notifications for Direct Managers Only
If your organisation has an org chart configured, notifications about employee actions such as
leave requests
and shift swaps
will now be sent only to the employee’s direct manager
(this includes the Time Off daily summary emails).Previously, higher-level managers could receive notifications for employees who report to lower-level managers. This update ensures notifications go to the person most responsible for handling them.
Note that if all direct managers are unavailable or on leave, the notification will escalate one level up to their manager’s manager.
