Deactivating Payroll Leave Balances
We've just updated how deleting leave balances for employees works with Tanda Payroll. Previously, you could either delete a payroll leave balance entirely, or be unable to delete it at all if the employee had already accrued leave for that type.
Now, you can
deactivate
a leave balance at any time, including after the employee has already accrued that leave type. This removes it from the Active balances, and is only visible when adjusting the new leave dropdown to 'Inactive

Deactivating a leave balance works the same way as deleting it, but retains the 'deleted' balance for record-keeping purposes. Deactivated balances will not accrue any leave. They can be reactivated if needed by clicking
