Create Out-of-Cycle Pay Runs for Automatic Back Pays

Tanda Payroll now lets you create out-of-cycle pay runs when automatically back paying timesheets. Previously, this was always added to the next in-cycle pay run. With this update, selecting

Backpay Timesheet

now gives you two options:

Add to next pay run
: Follows the normal pay group schedule, using or creating a draft pay run for the next pay period.
Create out-of-cycle pay run
: Creates a standalone pay run using the dates in the payrun, with the payment date set to today. If an out-of-cycle draft already exists for that payroll file, Tanda will enter the backpay into that pay run.

This provides greater flexibility for when a payment needs to be processed immediately, instead of waiting for the next scheduled pay run.
