To help fulfil HIGA and RIA Award requirements, it is now possible to create minimum shift engagement rules that apply only if the worked portion of the shift includes ordinary hours.
To do so, navigate to
Time & Attendance > Compliance > Custom Award Rules > Manage > + New Award Rule.
Then, follow the prompts to create your custom award rule. Ensure that under the '3. Conditions' subheading, you tick 'Minimum shift length', then select option e: 'minimum length will only apply if ordinary hours already worked in shift.'

From there, finish creating your rule and click
Create Rule
to save your changes.
