Over the coming weeks, we will be rolling out an updated Timesheets page with a cleaner, more user-friendly interface.

These changes mirror our recent Staff List update and primarily affect how Timesheets
look, feel, and perform
,
not their basic functionality or the data they generate
. Now, the Staff List and Timesheets share the same layout for a more consistent, aligned user experience.
The biggest change is that the ‘Cost’ column received a makeover. Previously, this column showed three distinct pieces of information: timesheet costs, previous timesheet costs, and the percentage difference between these two figures.
Now, these are separated into two columns: ‘Cost’ and ‘Previous Cost.’ Where applicable, the percentage change is still shown in the ‘Cost’ column. Additionally, the toggle to hide costs has been removed. Instead, you can unselect the ‘Cost’ column via Columns to Display.
Other changes include:
  • The
buttons to import, lock, and unlock timesheets and recalculate costs are now all located in the ‘More actions’ menu.
  • We have introduced a ‘Columns to Display’ filter, allowing you to customise which columns your Timesheets generate. Learn more about ‘Columns to Display’ in our reports help guide.
  • We’ve introduced a new ‘Acceptance Status’ filter, pertaining to whether an employee has accepted their shifts. Learn more about shift acceptance in our help guide.
  • We’ve added a ‘Clear filters’ button.
  • We’ve added some new alerts and notifications to help you navigate this updated view more easily.
We will begin rolling these changes out over the coming weeks, so stay tuned!
