We have just enabled Pay Checks that can block clock-ins, if enabled.
These checks run when an employee attempts to clock in. If any enabled check fails, the employee is shown an error message and prevented from clocking in. For example:

Currently, clock-in blocking checks include:
  • Employee hasn't finished onboarding
  • Employee needs to sign contract
  • Employee has an unacknowledged document
To enable these checks, navigate to
Settings > Timesheets
and scroll down. As with all of our Pay Checks, these can be set to be blocking, warning, or disabled.

Please note:
  • The Timeclock app must be at least version 6.2.21 for clock-ins to be blocked from checks.
  • Checks do not run on offline clock ins.
