Several new improvements are now available (on an opt-in basis) in the Children’s Services Managed Template, including:
  • Adding Shiftworker employment types, to facilitate the conditions of the shiftwork employment stream.
  • Adding break rules for shiftworkers.
  • Adding Missed Meal Break overtime automations.
  • Adding overtime automations for working beyond a 12-hour spread.
  • Adding new automations for part-time employees working outside their contracted weekly hours.
  • Adding TOIL accrual and expiry for all employment types.
We have set a 6-week opt-in period for these updates. Clients will have until Tuesday, September 16, 2025, to voluntarily enable the changes in their managed templates. After that point, the changes will be in all accounts from Wednesday, September 17, 2025.
