AU: Employee Onboarding moves to the Mobile App 📲
For organisations in Australia, we’ve moving Employee Onboarding to the Mobile App to create a seamless experience for new starters.
What does this mean?
Employees will be prompted to set up the mobile app before completing onboarding details, meaning they can start using the mobile app even faster.
Now, staff will receive their welcome email and be prompted to:
- Set a password
- Download the mobile app
- Enter their onboarding details directly into the app
This also means that,
after setting their password
, staff can complete their onboarding at any time without
the invitation token expiring, and staff can sign contracts with a digital signature
. For staff that
do not have access
to the mobile app, onboarding can still be completed through desktop
. 📝 Note: Organisations that use
platform objects
during employee onboarding will continue with the previous version of employee onboarding while we continue to incorporate these fields into the mobile app.
