Update Employee Onboarding Details

As per Josh's update in May last year, this is now live.
We've rolled this out for as many fields as practical, however, we are aware that certain countries and regions, there a few fields that aren't available as yet. We're reviewing this as we change, and if there's particular fields that people would like this expanded to, then we suggest a new suggestion specific to that field.

Hi Everyone,
A major step in the process has gone live today. You can now turn on Employee Self Service in feature management.
This will allow employees to update their bank account details and qualifications via the app. If the employee updates a field that needs to be reflected in your payroll system, your payroll person or admin will receive an email letting them know.
To try it out try turn on employee self service under Feature Management, and ensure that your employee have permission to update qualifications under settings > permissions.

Josh Cameron: amazing! Have just turned this feature on. However, it seems not ALL staff can update ALL fields. For example, I started with our organisation 4+ years ago, before we were using Tanda. So, I didn't complete the Tanda onboarding process, so most of my personal details aren't currently in my employee profile. When I try to edit my personal details in the mobile app, I can only edit phone number, email and address. I don't have access to the "Bank Acct. & Payroll" menu, like newer employees, who did complete Tanda onboarding, do.

Amanda Macaulay: Hi Amanda, the initial version of this only worked for employees that used Onboarding. But we have gradually rolled it out to everyone, so you should be able to see/edit your own bank details now.

Josh Cameron: any chance you can allow the onboarding process for these details to be entered manually by HR team instead of asking the new employee to enter them??? we employ employees with disabilities and not all are able to fully complete the onboarding process themselves!

Hey there, will this be fixed soon? Absolutely need to be able to “re onboard” and gave HR/ payroll be able to edit add to the sensitive information.

There should also be an option for manual entry of the onboarding information so staff can enter it in not the employee. We have employees who have disabilities and require support with this sort of thing, also what about those employees who were imported into tanda we should be able to enter and update all their information!!

It would also be good to be able to make some of the onboarding information not mandatory. We use TANDA across a few teams in our organsiation. Because it is not organisation wide, our HR team deals with bank, super, tax info and therefore we have no reason to collect it in the onboarding process. It would be good to be able to get staff to engage with TANDA during onboarding but only if they dont have to enter all of the information.

Hi, have their been any updates on this? It still appears you cannot update Super details. Surely this would be the same as updating bank details?

It would be great if onboarding could be initiated again for a previous employee through their existing "Deactivated" Profile if they are to recommence with us.
Currently to onboard a previous employee registered in our Tanda database we need to remove the email on file for their previous profile by reactivating, removing the email and then deactivating the profile again.
Otherwise it won't allow us to complete paperless onboarding again due to already having their email on file.
