Hey everyone, this one is now live. Holidays will be shown to staff when they get sent their roster in emails, SMS and in their app.

I was just wondering if you could please clarify for me why you would like public holidays to be highlighted on the roster sent to staff?

Renee: Hey Renee- I'm not sure the line of business that Stacey is in. However, our company runs 24/7/365 and some employees do have to work holidays. It would be nice for myself as the employer as well as the employees to visualize when holidays are coming up in relation to their current schedule so they can have a better idea of scheduling work around the holiday or requesting off

Renee: Hi Renee we are in a similar situation, we also work on Public Holidays. Our rosters go out in advance and I agree with Josh that the employees and managers would prefer to visualise so they can plan ahead.

One thing I can suggest that works now is that staff add their roster to their calendar where they will already have all public holidays listed. Within each roster email there is a section that includes the link to their calendar and different calendar options.
This is a way that your staff can see a full view of their upcoming shifts and public holidays in one spot.

Renee: Hi Renee this option wont work for us as we generally use only the SMS messages. We have a work around where we have created a "OFF" shift so the crew can see that they are not working on that day :)
