This is so that when they clock out they can put a comment in like, "Forgot to log my break, however I did take a break" or "logged in late, however I was here, check with the store Manager". This would make things so much easier when it comes to approving timesheets

Hey All!
We have released a new feature Time Clock Questions that allows you to create workflows like this
Admins can now find a new section in general setting at my.tanda.co called time clock. There you can setup a question for staff to answer as they clock out. e.g. "Did you clock your break today?"

Hey everyone, we have a new feature coming out shortly that will enable you to create a question on the time clock exactly like this!

Basically the feature enables Tanda admins to create questions which will be asked on one of the following conditions:

clock-in
early clock-in
late clock-in
unscheduled clock-in
and the same on conditions on clock out.

The answers will then be added as a note on the shift in Tanda.

Hey Liam would there be any consideration to build the Employee Portal 'forgot to clock in/out' feature into the Tanda Clock In app so that staff can use the tablet to fix up their timesheet?

A lot of our staff are not very competent when it comes to IT and to try get them to log onto my.tanda.co and use the portal proves difficult. They are all familiar with the tablet/app so would be good if it was built into there that they can quickly use the touchscreen to enter their fix.

Hi Krystian! Do your employees use the Tanda mobile app? We are planning on adding the ability to amend missed clockins to the Tanda app first, would this solve your problems?

Liam: Hi Liam, we have a tablet provided by Tanda that has a Time Clock application installed. We have also installed Tanda Time Clock for Desktop via your site onto a couple of computers at another one of our clinics.

99% of our staff use these methods to clock in and out. Not many staff use the Tanda and TandaTimeClock apps on their phones.

Hi Coen and those who voted 👋
We plan to give managers and employees the ability to add notes to timesheets from the Tanda App. Our plan is for these notes to show as comments on the Timesheet, so they can be viewed while approving timesheets.
We will keep you all updated here when we have a better idea of the release date for this feature.

Liam: CCan we also allow the staff member clocking in and out to add the comment. The managers are not always available and sometimes located remotely. This would help the employees to communictae to the manager as to why they clocked in/out late or early
