Like to be able to a attachments after it has been approved and exported as well for example employee calls in Sick Tuesday. Payroll processed Wednesday and Doctors certificate received Thursday.

Hey all just letting you know you can now add comments to both approved and pending leave requests.
This means if you need to added extra notes for recording keeping or send notes directly to the employee you can.

Yes I would find this very beneficial also. I take texts for sick calls sometimes only two hours before the start of shift. I can note for roster manager staff member called sick at (time). Roster manager then needs to comment eg; no agency, no staff, shift worked short. Or; no staff ABC agency called RN Sue Smith Level 2 filled.

This would really be very, very useful and something we've been meaning to request for a while. It will be particularly useful for managing sick leave.
Currently our process goes something like this:
1) person is rostered to do a shift
2) person doesnt turn up for shift
3) Shift manager will a few hours into the shift raise a sick leave event. At this point if they've heard from the person they add a comment eg "called in sick pre shift, flu" or if they haven't heard from them "no show, no contact pre shift".
4) After they return to work a paper form should be completed (but very often isnt) and attached to the leave request. If this doesnt happen we often dont have a record of the reason why the person was off.
We only get 1 chance to add the comments and there is always more you want to add to the story at a later point ie The "no show person" will give you a reason the following day, or something may happen that extends sick leave for a few days.
It would be very useful to be able to add a number of comments to note this timeline. It also give a very quick way to understand sick leave patterns by pulling up a particularly poor performing employees annual leave for the year and just holding the mouse over the comment section to get a 'feel' for all the reasons they've used for being off.
